Friday after my one day vacation on the other Island close by, I went to bed. When I was close to falling asleep my phone rang. He told me 'hey meet us at taste of belgium pura'.
I got up, made up myself and left. When I got there I saw my family inlaw.
We had dinner, chatted, drank some good cabernet (there wasn't any merlot, darn!)

Saturday we went cleaning. After the cleaning up that place part we went swimming in that lovely pool, was too cold though.
When I got home I started blogging a bit, and suddenly my phone rang, it was 7:50 pm. He said: 'hey mama a puntra si bo por buska kimmy 8or, bo ta bin come toch?'
So I got up made up myself and left for kimmy.
We had dinner, chatted for a long while with the two guests from Curacao, drank some good white wine (wente) & some merlot.

My legs are kinda sore now, that's the fuit of my hard labor. YEaaaah!
Frengkie got burned, by the stinging sunrays. But superJDY didn't thanks to the extreme power of Hawaian Tropic 50spf sunblock!
Yeah, I was walking around with white spots on my body.
But hey i'm not burned right?

I woke up today, and then fell asleep.

I woke up again, this time for reals. Because someone [uhum] called me bright early in the mornin'. Ruin my beauty sleep tsh. Then I rememberd that we had to go clean up mansur ballpark for the assembly next weekend. Lemme tell you, we worked alright.

What a day that was, yesterday.
A long day, yesterday.
We had this thing with all of my 250 something co-workers at the palm Island.
It's very funny to see your coworkers in another setting. Some of them were wearing some funny things. My friend and close collegue,Sue-Ellen, made sure she caugth everything and everyone on camera. Monday we some funny stuff to look at.
It was a fun day, I didn't like the eggs, scrambled with half a gallon of milk. blegh... It went in and out instantly.
We went snorkling with some fish, and whales (hihihi).
In the afternoon there was some dancin'. Well if that's what they call dancing.

At night I went to dinner with my new family, at paseo herencia.
and that about wraps it up.

Around this hour I usually do nothing cause i'm either tired or too lazy or I just want to go home. SO I blog now, at work uhhuh!

Let's talk about my wide screen monitor! It's so huge that I have to go lean back to see what's on it!... If you standing on the other side of the room you can see whatever the heck i'm up to -not so cool-
I have stuff stuck on my tower with scotchtape as you can see.
I like what it says : "vexationg of spirit is a waste of time, negative thinking don't you waste your thoughts, verbal conflict is waste of words, fisical conflict is a waste of flesh". That's deep, to deep for the people in my office to understand what the message is. This verse comes from a song I love. After the waste of flesh it says "people will always be who they are". That part got me thinking, it's true people will always be who they are, so don't vexate, have patience, don't be negative, have patience and don't insult with your words. Have patience, don't let it escalate to fights! God, I'm so smart!

Hey that was a good show man, so good that I went to see it 3 times!
The first night had it's own little tecnical probs but the last two nights were just awesome!
Sunday I had the pleasure of being back stage for set up. My uncle was part of the show, so I enjoyed that even more.
I realised during the show how much we take our culture for granted, we don't take what we have and improve it. Instead we let it die. Young people have no interest in their backround, their roots, there culture. We can do so much with our music for instance. Improving it, transforming it in something we like with a twist of our typical instruments.
So yeah I learned something, I am going to do something with what I've learned.

I was talking to frendsel some while ago and I was thinking "whatever happend to my blog?" Then I remembered tha I have forgotten my stupid password.
Passwords, I use em everyday!
How am I supose to remeber all of them: windows to log in to my work pc, then we have the password for the tax-program I use daily, emails, msn, myspace, facebook, WhOAAAA!
I can barely remeber if Í have underwear on. And the worse part of it is that here -at work- they expect us to change the darn password every 2 months.
And I came up with the theory that because of all the password changing I forgot my blogger password.

But I'm Back with alot of tales to wright about. I wil start with point 1.

I got engaged! AAAA! engaged! with the man or boy/man I love the most. it all started on a friday, we made plans to go out to eat food, seafood at this beautiful restaurant in my hometown Savaneta (that made it more special to me). The evening went smooth until it was dessert-time. I was full, filled up with food in my tiny stomach. But the chef came out with a nice plate, with what seemed like a piece of delicious cake. He said "try this, it's a new dessert. So i didn't want to be rude and so I took a spoon and went for it. But my piece of cake started making sound effects. And it was then that I got nervous. I dropped the spoon and leaned back. He opened the magic cake and there was the ring. He asked me "BO KIER CASA CUMI"? I replied: Are you serious? and offcourse I said YES! and I cried like byehbe!
And then we were surrounded by the staff. It's a night i'll remember for ever.

Did I mention that I'm in debt? Great, things you do to have a car.
It's great that I have a car and all but I love my money man!~
I want to use it for other things. I can't have a social life that's over the amount of 15 florins. So since I'm so poor I was thinking of becoming one of those smelly stinky lonely cat ladies... haha frendsel will kill me though.

Well it's time for me to leave this place, this place I call work.

Whoa!It's been a while noh?
I've been verry berry busy these days. Alot happend the last week.
Frendsel's grandfather just passed away. It was a shock to them all. I helped them alot this last week. Most of my time I spend it there at their new home.
So assembly is coming up this weekend, I'm very excited. Can't wait actually.
I only bought one skirt this time, hehehe.
Good thing is I don't have to work on friday.

Mom is going to Ecuador on friday, I hope she brings me gifts! otherwise she can just stay overthere... just kidding momma.
My sister is turning 19 tomorrow, but she never grows up. But I still love her, she's my baby sister afterall.
My big baby brother didn't make it to the next grade this year, I hope he does his best this year.
My baby baby brother is going to kleuterschool this year and he is very excited. I hope he stops being so hyper though!

Sunday we went offroading with my family, we offroad in style yeeaaaahh!!!
My car came out of the trip very dirteyy. But we all had fun.
Jess and Sayenne stole some flowers from this house near the Ostrich Farm. I thought they was only gonna get one or two flowers... But I saw them running towards the car with almost the whole tree!!
I said 'leave sum for the iguanas'... But the just laughed at me... hhmmmm!!

So i'm going to catch my beauty sleep because tomorrow I have to look pretty at work :P!

Bista Riba Bo

So Yesterday my uncle send me this new track hot out of the oven, it's called Bista Riba Bo...This is something new for Basic One, they are using electronic beats with their own touch of soca bounce! So Kultivator, he's the producer, music technitian. In April he and Niro went in the recording studio to start recording this track. I had the chance to be present. I had to be really quiet though. But it was cool. I saw how my uncle came up with these crazy beats!I thought to myself 'whoa what a creative uncle I have'.
He was playin with his music machines, coming up with this cool electro beats and after a while.. Voila! the beat gets going! and this track came out

I wish my uncle Kultivator and Tio Niro all the best with this hot new track!

it's been 3 days man! i'm finally going home today. we're at the airport at gate no 2. we have to wait till 8.30 to start boarding. this weekend was fun and relaxing. it was joe's first trip. oh yes i forgot to say that i'm outta money. cheez only 4 days...

yesterday we stayed at the hotel, in the pool. you know just being the tourists that we are.

the day before yesterday we went to the museum kura hulanda, after that we went shopping in punda and otra banda. joey got tired of walking so he went back to the hotel to take a nap. when we finally got back to the hotel we all took showers and went to the grill house restaurant next to the coast. the food was tres bien!
at night we heard loud noises, pow pow boom boom! the salesgirl in the minimarket scared us. she started screamming: 'eh eeh! nan ta mata otro yiu!ay dio ta ken ta mata otro!'.... that means oh oh they're killing eachother, oh lord who's killing eachother. so yeah that noise came from otra banda coz they was throwing fireworks! so much for that!... to be continued!

V was waiting for me at 1 O clock! I didn't make it but thank god she's a good sport!

Mars was there too. I finally catched up with them around 6. We all went to Shon Geico's... at La Quinta(good stuff there).

It was fun.....

I went to the bank twice today to change money, my idiot self changed it to dollars instead of euro's.... Excuse moi dear!

So yeah Frendsel's leaving tomorrow, what a bummer! cheez! I really need to do something to entertain my poor ol' self. Thank God Issa's going to be at the hotel.

I wish I was going to Holland too, TSH! Oh well!..... atleast I get to go to Curacao... AGAIN!

I'm finally home after a long day of work.
Frendsel just stopped by. He gave mi this new edition of this magazine named Island Temptations. When I saw the cover I immediatly disliked it!
Ugh, it says pin-up is back. What THE Hell? These people know nothing about it!
I bet they don't even know who Betty Paige is or even Betty Grabble.
Today people just like the clothing, it's fashion and style. But they don't know where it all came from.

I personally like Betty Paige, the queen of pinup, YES.... THE QUEEN!
You need to have the personality to be a real pinup chick! The unique sense of style.
Appreciation for that era. Not everybody can pull this look off.

The models, OH MY! the models.
yes they can strike a pose or two but it shows that they have no appreciation for this era. It doesn't look real. I know some of them don't know anything about pinups. Cloths does not give you the 1950's attitude dears...

Me and my buddy always wanted to do something like this, but his camera got stolen.
I've been studying Betty's poses for a while now. I think it's rather fascinating!
Nowadays you have to be skinny to be considerd pretty. If we go back to that era it is nothing like today. The models have a nice figure with some meat! YEAH! thumbs up for that!...
That was considerd real beauty! And I think that's why the pinup models in that time where comfortable in their body's. It really show in the pictures...

So I just started blogging, I don't really know how this goes but it sure is fun. Frendsel seems to really enjoy blogging so I asked myself why not do it?
So here I am.
I personaly prefer reading, some people seem to think it's boring..
Wel suckers, reading makes you become more intelligent, ohyes I AM!
I can also speak a bit of french, je t'aime je t'aime! oui oui!
Some people say i'm funny, i think you should ask frendsel.
He knows funny, he's a funny man himself.
But you should hurry because the funny man is leaving for Holland in four days. How boring my life is going to be. And for 2 weeks!
Well I can keep myself busy right?
I even have a list of activities:
1. Watch all the euro cup games I can
2.Monday I am going to the hotel to visit Carrisa, I think V is going to be there too.
3. Read all the crap there is to read
4. And Friday go to Curacao!
and that's about it I guess.

Freazing Tuesday

I woke up in the morning thinking to myself: "Today is going to be a great day at work"..

Great indeed, so great....

I got in my car, drove to work. And when I got there I went straight to the office to great my fellow data-enrty partners. When I got to the door it was friggin' freazing...

Oh yes! FREAZING!....and all because this one lady has started getting hotflashes, so she turnedon the airconditioning to UBERHIGH!

Can you believe it! I felt like I was in Holland all over again, so to get us in the Holland-winter-mood we got our turtleneck jackets on and even started speaking dutch to eachother!

By the way I think when people caugh they should cover their nasty mouths!
